Show Measuring Guidelines
- When measuring your existing rigging please ensure it has been returned to the original
adjustment / setting. ( i.e. Where it was setup / tuned to, when the mast was in situ on the boat).
- Lengths are measured in Metres ( m ) so are therefore correct to three decimal places (i.e... 10.345m or 5.470m). This is to ensure that the measurement is accurate.
The length which you enter is your over all length, from where you have measured on your top fitting (as indicated below) to where you have measured to on your bottom fitting (as indicated below).
- Please refer to our measuring diagrams below which detail where your measurements should be taken from and to on each particular fitting.
- When we construct your new rigging, turnbuckles are closed approximately one third to ensure adequate adjustment remains once shrouds/stays are fitted.
- Please double check your measurements, the type and size of wire and the end
terminals chosen as this will be the specification your item(so) will be made to.
- Alternatively you can send your old rigging to us and we can make your up new rigging
from this.
- The wire rope used is manufactured from high quality 316 grade stainless steel.
